Friday's Thoughts on Achieving Success

Friday thoughts . . .
Notes from books I’m reading on SUCCESS

SUCCESS & The Law of Connection

- Leaders touch a heart before they ask for a hand.

- Great Leaders and Communicators connect with their reps.

- Bad communicators - talk down. Good communication – means common ground, get onto common ground.

- In 55 minutes ask 93 questions
Speak with passion, ask lots of questions security, friend.

- You can’t move people to action before you connect with their heart.

9 ways to connect:

1- Connect with yourself FIRST. Be real
2- Share with openers and sincerity. Let them be openers so they will approach you.
3- Live your message
4- Know your audience. Know something about them.
5- Talk at their level. Look them in the eye.
6- Give yourself totally to the people and the message
7- Believe totally in the message and the people
8- Share how the message has touched you. They get you to take the trip with you. They are together with you. Offer direction and hope.
9- Always give them light at the end of the tunnel. Leaders are dealers in hope.

How well do I connect in Speaking:

Law of Solid Ground:

Trust: Foundation that hold the leader and the people together. It is what you build your leadership on.

Need character and needs confidence to build.

It’s not the biggest problem that causes you the problem, it is the last one.

Give back changes – give back less and slower. When you violate a trust relationship you loose it a lot quicker than you gained it.

After a while if doing it well, you are loaded with change.

Business people know their #’s

1. Keep track
2. Begin with the end in mind
3. Beginning must be just as big as your end. Otherwise you will think in such a way as will create limits.
4. Not about money- It’s about what your life can become.
5. The course is about big steps and the possibilities of your life. Until you can see the possible and plan for it then the possible for you is impossible.

“If I have seen farther than others it is because I have been standing on the shoulders of giants.” Issac Newton

When you think big you think narrow.
- Boredom of systematic consistency to reach highest heights. If you stay there long enough to success its not boring.
- Discipline to get to wealth, most take flexibility and freedom
- Act broadly as if you were climbing Mt. Everest.
- The size of your questions will determine the size of the answer.
- What will it take for me to climb to the highest point?
- Journey was astounding and you went further.
- Ramp it up!

Be on a course cause by circumstances, which you would have wished to have happened on purpose.

#1 in 1 year paid everything off!!!
Jump high, build big models, jump high and then get pulled along.

Don’t complicate it.

Success is not complicated, but most people get bored with the simplicity.

It’s an “I can conversation” every moment of everyday.

Here’s to our Best Week ever! Make a difference . . .

  1. I HAVE MADE SOME MISTAKES IN MY LIFE I KNOW, BECAUSE LIFE HAS DEALT ME SOME VERY HARD BLOWS.
I'M TRYING TO PAVE A BETTER ROAD AHEAD, BUT THE BUMPS AND CURVES HAS LANDED ME IN BED OF QUICKSAND. OUR HOME IS FILLED WITH MOLD AND MILDEW, BUT NO ONE WILL LISTEN AS NO ONE ELSE EVER KNEW. IF THIS MEANS NO ONE WILL HELP, WE TAKE TO OUR GRAVE ALL AND NO HEART FELT.

NONE OF US KNOW WHAT THE NEXT DAY WILL BRING, OR WHO WE WILL NEED HELP US IN ANY SITUATION. TO THOSE WHO HAVE IT ALL, MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS AND KEEP YOU IN ALL YOU HAVE. YOU ARE GUARENTEED TO ALWAYS HAVE AND NEVER HAVE TO LEND A HELPING HAND. IT WAS FOR US ALL
